Charged a Cleaning Fee? Let’s Review It Together.
Cleaning Fee Policy
Riders are responsible for any damage or mess to the interior or exterior of a vehicle caused during a trip — including incidents like vomiting, food or beverage spills, or dirt.
Cleaning fees are paid directly to the driver and are assessed based on the type and severity of the mess. Charges may be applied up to the following amounts:
$0 – Minor mess (e.g., water spill, disposable items easily cleaned or removed)
$20 – Small interior mess requiring simple cleaning or vacuuming (e.g., light food or beverage spills, dirt)
$40 – Moderate mess on the vehicle’s exterior (e.g., spilled drinks or food)
$80 – Moderate interior mess (e.g., larger spills, stains on fabric, minor bodily fluids)
$150 – Severe mess that requires deep cleaning (e.g., between door panels or vents, major bodily fluid incidents)
An updated trip receipt will be sent if a cleaning fee is applied.
If you were charged a cleaning fee that you believe is inaccurate or unfair, please [contact us here] to request a review. We’re happy to help.
Note on Regional Standards
Cleaning fees are charged according to local country standards, and amounts may vary depending on the region in which the trip took place.
