Understanding Duplicate or Extra Charges
What may seem like an extra or duplicate charge on your trip is often a temporary authorization hold.
At the start of a trip, Lobon may place an authorization hold for the upfront price of your ride — even if the trip is later canceled.
Lobon immediately voids the hold after the trip, but depending on your bank’s processing times, it might take a few business days for the void to reflect in your account.
If you have concerns about a pending hold, we recommend contacting your bank first.
Common signs that a charge is an authorization hold:
