Paying Cash for a Trip

Drivers should not request cash payment for a trip unless you specifically selected "Cash" as the payment method when booking.

In cities where the cash payment option is unavailable, drivers are not permitted to request cash from riders — either for trip fares or toll charges.

Tips are not included in the fare, but tipping is optional and at your discretion. If you choose to tip your driver in cash, please note that this will not affect the total fare charged for your trip.
